"Yes Sir, I Can Boogie"
Misheard Lyrics:
Sure makes me wander
Original Lyrics:
Sure makes me wonder

Story about this misheard lyric by: Cody Finke

I often confused myself between "wonder" and "wander".

Nonsensical Song Lyrics:

"Yes Sir, I Can Boogie"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
Yes sir, I can boogie.
(later)
You wanna know if I can dance
Yes sir
Already told you in the first verse
And in the chorus
Why They're Nonsensical:
"You wanna know if I can dance." Well, you already explained it in the title (since boogieing is a dance). What you should've said is "You *wanted* to know if I *could* dance". And the subsequent lines sound like fourth-wall breakage.
