Story about this misheard lyric by: Bonnie Ely My 30 year old brother was singing the song and the first few times I heard him, I thought I must have misheard him, there is NO WAY he's saying "muddy beast". Finally, I asked him, "What do think he's saying there?". He replied, "The guy is running from a muddy beast." I almost fell out, I told him it was honey bees and explained how honey bees made a lot more sense, but he still refused to believe me until I looked it up on several different sites to show him.
