"After The Gold Rush" | The title is never found in the lyrics. Probably the best known lyrics are in the various choruses, with lines like "Look at Mother Nature on the run / In the nineteen seventies." and "They were flying Mother Nature's silver seed / To a new home in the Sun." So a presumed title might be something like "Mother Nature On The Run" or "Mother Nature's Silver Seed". - The Quirkfetch Kid |

"(You Are) Like a Hurricane"
The Funny Lyrics: You are like a hurricane, There's calm in your eye.
Why They're Funny: Too bad the other one was put out in that soccer riot.

| "Campaigner"
The Funny Lyrics: Even Richard Nixon has got soul...
Why They're Funny: While Young kind of whines his way through the song, I always listen to it just to hear that one line. On top of the ironic idea of Tricky Dick having any sort of moral check, it always makes me picture him sporting an afro singing 'Purple Haze' in a nightclub.

"Heart Of Gold"
The Misrhymed Lyrics: I've been to Hollywood,I've been to Redwood
I've crossed the ocean for a heart of gold Why They're Misrhymed: Mr. Florio is confused- in each verse, the idea is to rhyme the first two lines with each other, not with gold, i.e I wanna live, I wanna give, etc etc heart of gold. Although I will admit trying to rhyme Hollywood with Redwood is a bit odd

The Misrhymed Lyrics: I've been to hollywood,
I've been to Red wood, I keep on searching for a heart of gold Why They're Misrhymed: The lyric should be Ive been to hollywood, I've been to Rome because the lyric should rhyme with gold not wood.

"Lookin' For A Leader"
The Dated Lyrics: Maybe it's Obama,
but he thinks that he's too young. Maybe it's Colin Powell to right what he's done wrong. Why They're Dated: This song came out in 2006 offering suggestions for the next President of the United States. Obama stopped thinking he was too young and successfully ran for President in 2008. He left office after two terms rendering him ineligible for a third. And Colin Powell died in 2021, so he's no longer an option either.

The Dated Lyrics: In the meadow dusk, I parked my Aerostar
Why They're Dated: Although the Ford Aerostar was very popular when this song was written, few are still in use thanks to poor quality, atrocious reliability and a tendency toward severe rusting.
