That was terrible! I don't understand how anyone can make fun of Cher! She is so cool and I really don't appreciate people making fun of her personal life. I don't care what you say about her music-you have just as much a right to dislike Cher but taking shots at her personal life concering plastic surgery is pretty low. I'm mad that I could only vote once, because I gave the lowest score possible. I wish I could have given it a negative number score. That parody is crap!

I would just like to let everyone know that as of May 20, 2003, Cher will be 57, and she is NOT 81. Learn your numbers and at least be accurate before writing a parody like this! And the film "Mermaids", to which is refered to in the song, is an early 1990s movie, not an 80s film, like this song says. In answer to the song's title, Yes I can believe that a 57 year old woman with the voice of angel is still alive. 57 isn't a very long time in comparison with the average female's lifespan of today! If you compare this to Cher's lifespan (Cher is immortal in our hearts and minds), she is younger still. This song is offensive and I wouldn't appreciate it if someone wrote this about me. Cher never did anything to you to provoke the writing of this shocking, obnoxious, objectionable, inappropriate, and downright cruel piece of work. I would like to thank "CherFan" for speaking in defense of Cher, as well.

I must come in denfense of Paula..>Cher did something to all of us that warrented this parody.....she recorded music that is beyond crappy...."Believe", "Song for the lonely" ...basicly everything she did int he 90s and 2000s....the stuff she did with Sonny was good..I like Sonny and Cher, and I can tolerate her solo stuff through the 80s, but after that, forget it...she should have gave it up a long time ago......

I thought this song was very inapropriate because of the way it dealt with Cher's personal life. Very little of the song actually deals with her music career. Most of it dwells on Cher's personal life. For example, it consistently comes back to the theme of Cher's plastic surgery and talks about Cher's boyfriends who are "24" years old. I don't have a problem with people who don't like Cher's music, or even critcize it, but no one has the right to judge another person based on their qualities as a human being. It is not the author of this song's place to say such things about Cher's personal life. This has nothing to do with the quality of Cher's music. You can have a right to your opinion about that, and I can have mine, but we criticism of another human being and not their work is inappropriate, unfair, and cruel.

i am greatly offended by this parody of "believe". cher, the one TRUE diva, has shown her amazing talent throughout the last 40 years. whether riding a horse in "half-breed" or receiving her oscar for "Moonstruck", she has looked absolutely FABULOUS , and still looks and sounds like an angel. there is no need to be so cruel in your jealousy of her talent.perhaps your cheekbones aren't as wonderful as cher's? well, i am sorry my dear, but you're just going to have to get over it and realize that just because we can't all BE her, doesn't mean we have to ridicule her.
