And as for the "I wasn't offended by Green Day's American Idiot & I'm American"...well, Green Day are Americans too, so how could you be offended, it's an American spin of Americans. But Weird Al isn't Canadian...he spoke of how he hopes we Canadians get the irony, and I totally get it. He's making fun of American Ignorance...because everything he says about (translation: aboot) is exactly the skewed view that some Americans have of Canadians. Great Parody, of course I like Wierd Al's better. Its not a copyright issue because he couldnt have taken Wierd Als idea he released it over a year before Straight outta lynwood.

Pretty dumb but I can laugh at it cause Canadians always have a good sense of humour..... Let's see; Wal-mart, KFC/Taco-bell, Seattle's best coffee, Starbucks on every corner, McDonald's/Barf King/Wendy's/ Harvey's and every other fast food conglomerate you guys have in the states, Sears, Future Shop/Bestbuy, and about a million other companies that exist here came from the US. Norad (North American Air Defense System)=American+Canadian Military Joint effort, American military copying our field camoflage because we were smart enough to patent it and they cannot legally steal it(like that will stop them), Canadians in Afghanistan losing their lives to the war on terrorism, the lack/ignorance of american knowledge of what is really going on in Bush's administration, and the fact that the US is the FATTEST nation in the world, even after watching SuperSize Me is a testament to who the less intelligent nation really is. Here are a few more differences for ya; Canadian education is alot better than the American system, we don't need guns to solve problems-we beat the f@$k outta one another if there's a beef, WE KNOW what the US government is doing, most Canadian guys eat p*$$y so their girlfriends/wives don't leave them as easily, and of course our UFC Fighters ALWAYS walk through guys like Matt Hughes like the mouthpiece that he is. Oh, and no, it doesn't snow here year round so leave your skis and boards at home ya dumb yanks!!

i absolutely agree with Paulie,songs like these just show how ignorant the US is of th e rest of the world. Yes we are a kinder gentler people and are not hated by the rest of the world. Minnesota and other parts of the us get more snow than parts of canada, being a canadian and interested in all parts of the world is how I know that.
