Where have I been?
Memories lost, no kidding!
Beer cans on the floor,
Proves I was not sober.

Last night I passed beneath those neon glowing letters.

I bought myself some beer
And then I went again.
(Brought some friends of strange descent and tried to convince
Them that the Canadian's best)
Walked out that spinning door,
And went no more.

Where did we go then?
That I can't remember.
Staggered to my door,
The key it would not open.

Wounded, hit my knee and landed on my kitty
Scratching/ Attacking
Leaning on the bowl I see my own indigestion,
Reversing in my porcelain ...

To look back at it again
(Without those mint of "confidence," lime with gin and tonic
Was not all that I could take.)
I looked around for more,
Fell on the floor.
