The Lyrics

The first song I wrote for "Reallyboreda" as I recall, it's something I'm sure a lot of people can associate with-computer's that just won't cooperate!
Verse 1:
I'm tired of trying to burn a CD
Begining to hate this
It's not serving its purpose
What kind of problem does it have with me?
Error 2,981: Cannot write to the CD
[My computer is my foe, my computer's just my foe]
Why is it saying it doesn't have enough virtual memory?
[My computer is my foe, my computer's just my foe]

Chorus:
My computer's become so dumb
All I do is swear
It's almost like it bears a grudge
And is self-aware
I'm becoming pissed
All I want to do
Is grab a hammer
And smash its CPU

Verse 2:
Can't it see that it's annoying me?
Trying to fight me
Not letting me have control
And every time I get enough hard drive space free
It gives me an error, number 723
[My computer is too slow, my computer's way too slow]
And I still haven't figured out, what is virtual memory?
[My computer is too slow, my computer's way too slow]
And every millisecond it wastes
Is more than I can take!

Chorus:
My computer's become so dumb
All I do is swear
It's almost like it bears a grudge
And is self-aware
I'm becoming pissed
All I want to do
Is grab a hammer
And smash its CPU

Bridge:
Does it know
That it's doing this to me?
All I know
Is that it might help if
I keep on hitting the escape key

Chorus:
My computer's become so dumb
All I do is swear
It's almost like it bears a grudge
And is self-aware
I'm becoming pissed
All I want to do
Is grab a hammer
And smash its CPU

He didn't say anything about Linkin Park...geez, the guy has a right to make a parody of anyone. But it's still not too good. Work on pacing/rhymes.

I just want to mention that ALL of my parodies are "written for recording", and I suppose not for the scrutiny of those concerned with pace. For recording, I can speed up my lyrical pace at certain points, which in many cases makes it sound even funnier. If you follow the link in the footer, you can find all my recordings and it will perhaps enlighten you as to how my lyrics work, and why I write them with such lyrical flexibility. And you've gotta admit, the chorus is gold, and it's a lot better than another one I read "I've become so dumb, I can feel no brains". I mean, c'mon, that's just pathetic. -_-

I've read a lot of "Numb" parodies that are all titled "Dumb", and I even have one myself about the actual band, but I like yours best. It's on a good topic, it rhymes well, and I enjoyed reading it. Super job.
