The Lyrics

Another 4-H parody. My 3rd one. PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!
Verse 1:

It starts with
One project I don’t know why
It doesn't even matter how hard I try
Keep that in mind I designed this rhyme
To explain 4-H times
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the project girl sings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks my life away
It's so unreal
Didn’t turn it in on time
I was way to busy designing this rhyme
Trying to hold on but thought I was doing fine
Trying to make another line
I watched in awe
I kept everything inside
And even though I tried my project fell apart
What it meant to me
Will eventually be a memory of a time when...

Chorus:

I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
I didn’t get a ribbon
My project failed
To no avail
But in the end
I didn’t get a ribbon
