Song Parodies -> "All You Talibans Die"

Original Song Title:

"American Pie"

Original Performer:

Madonna

Parody Song Title:

"All You Talibans Die"

The Lyrics

I present the brand new official battle theme for the U.S. Army!
Oh, Saddam, you blow
I can still remember how the troops of Iraq used to go wild
And I knew if I we had our chance
That we could make those assholes dance
And then Saddam would be in prison for a while

Did you write the book of hate
And do you have faith in your iron slate
If George Dubya tells you so
Do you believe we have mass ammo
We cannot spare a single soul
And Saddam, your death is gonna be real slow

Well, I know that you're regime is wearing thin
Cause I saw your cave and it was closing in
You both kicked off your pointed shoes
Man, that turban smells real cruel

He's a long beard, turban-wearing son of a f**k
With a carriage camel, no car or no truck
But he knew he was out of luck
The day we got Saddam

And they started singing

CHORUS
Die, die, all you Talibans die
Drove a tank right in through Baghdad and we bombed you all dry
In Saddam's cave is where we found his slaves
And we said, this will be the day that you die
This will be the day that you die

Those Isrealites, yeah, they sing the blues
We see what happens on the nightly news
Because Osama and Saddam got their way
We went down to a secluded door
When we got there, the Muslims had been here before
But the man there said that Saddam got away

And in the streets the children screamed
When the United Nations said that Osama'd be free
Lots of swears were spoken
Saddam's statue was broken
And the three men I admire most
Powell, Chaney, Bush the most
They caught the last plane for the coast
The same day the Talibans died

And they started singing

CHORUS (X2)

What a load of rubbish! Aggressive, narrow-minded, right wing claptrap...any intelligent person supporting the war would be ashamed by this. For one thing, the Taliban was in Afghanistan, you moron, and had nothing to do with Iraq...you'll find that was al-Quaida. Resorting to abusive rants is the mark of a poor parodist...and a fairly stupid person. Add to that a badly constructed parody, with verses missing, slack pacing and a generally amateurish finish, and what you've got is one stinking heap of a parody. Sorry, but it had to be said......

Well if it isn't Evil Ebert and Roper! You know, I can admire the way you lash out like that. But its plainly obvious that the song blended both the Osama and Saddam aspects into one. That is precisely why you will see things about Talibans in Iraq. And for rhymes sake, it did a whole lot better than if I had added Al-Qaeda. And sir, I believe you are the narrow-minded one, because your obviously unappreciative and pessimistic when it comes to song parodies like this one. You would rather sit on your rear end and point the finger at somebody else before you look at your own work. So do us all a favor and quit your nagging and mockery. It'll be for the better of this site Your friend and quite frankly better parodist, JLNNA.

Yes, Joey, I AM unappreciative and pessimistic about parodies like this: I appreciate clever political satire, and there is plenty of it on the site. FYI, I supported the war in Iraq, so it pains me when I read a piece of violent, hate-filled crap like this...it's OBVIOUS to me that when you mention Talibans in line 1 of the chorus then proceed to talk about Saddam for the rest of the chorus, that your ability to build narrative flow in a parody is sadly lacking...that is not the mark of a good parodist. And you can't pace for shit. I wouldn't normally be so scathing in my comments, but man, you were asking for it! IMHO,this site would be a much better place if hate-mongering rubbish like this was removed.

Would you pipe down and listen to me for a second? The parody isn't supposed to be all about the pacing. That was purely intentional, okay? And where do you get off calling my parody violent and hate-filled, huh? I ask you that because it clearly doesn't make any sense to me. The song is directed one-sidedly to make the whole humor point of view reasonable. You don't side with the bad guys and think you're going to get good material. It just isn't done. What do those guys have on us? Nothing. And FYI, I didn't intend the song to maintain a "flow" as you call it. It is one of those punch-punch things that just goes with the element of surprise. You know something, I don't know why I even bother to explain myself to such insolence.

Guys, guys, calm down! This is not a bad parody! And Mr.Critic, stop trying to act like Simon from American Idol. This is not your song, and try to keep what you think about it to yourself ok?
Hail Caesar! - April 28, 2005 - Report this comment
Great parody JLNNA. As to mr. critic, whose name is not worthy of capitalization, why don't you do some work of your own rather than merely abuse that which your superiors have done? Talk is cheap, buddy, and to criticize others while doing nothing yourself is the easiest job in the world. Good luck flipping burgers as that is clearly all that you are cut out for. Hussein did have links to the Taliban and Al-Qaiada. The only hate-filled person around here is you. 555 to JLNNA

Well, the pacing's a bit off, & you forgot a bunch of verses, but terrorist-bashing parodies are always good. 3-4-5 to this one.
