No King Tiger was ever penetrated from the frontal aspect during WW2. There exists only one staged shot of an abandoned King Tiger that the Allies tested rounds on- it took a 90mm at point-blank range to penetrate the empty tank. Postwar the Soviets tested 152mm guns to penetrate!!! Most King Tigers were killed by Allied aircraft with rockets and bombs and not by Allied tanks. Most were abandoned when they ran out of ammo or fuel. But the 489 produced killed thousands of enemy tanks but was hopelessly deluged by Allied armor on both fronts.

Not familiar with Madonna's song, but I did learn something about the King Tiger tank. Have you thought about the Blohm & Voss asymmetrical airplane? Or the Fallschirmjäger gravity knife? I wonder if anyone ever used one of those to cut himself out of a tangled parachute.

Only 13 Bv-141 asymmetrical aircraft were built during WW2... but I am way past those oddities, past the jet and rocket a/c, and into the German disc craft and Foo Fighters that are classified (flugscheiben and Phoo Bombs). As for the paratrooper gravity knife, you can get them at almost any auction in town for around $10. I had one once but it was nothing special. The circular Luftwaffe Turbo (jet aircraft) badges are more interesting...
