The Lyrics

So I checked out the PANIC! parody page and it was pretty much empty. I'm guessing it's because these lyrics are somehow quite different from most other bands... or people would rather do Fall Out Boy ;)Remember, "wondering" is THREE sylalylables. The pacing here is 1,000% accurate.
I think Panic's of an age
To be accumulating some parodies en mass
Right here on the interweb,
May even get some praise

As I load the artist page
I'm sitting and wondering if ev'ryone's been scared away
The band's words makin' them all too afraid
Crying between dignified tries of some dignified
Pace and rhyme
*walk away*

And isn't this exactly why I'm writing?
Not exactly why I'm writing, it's more
Preying for love from the fan base
And paying with a parody

Oh, isn't this exactly why I'm writing?
Not exactly why I'm writing, it's more
Preying for love from the fan base
And paying with a parody

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut
But I'm afraid now I
I've got it on paper
And I can see me shot dead d-dead d-dead d-dead from this one

Well I'm afraid now I
That's right I've got it on paper
And I can see me shot dead from this one

And isn't this exactly why I'm writing?
Not exactly why I'm writing, it's more
Preying for love from the fan base
And paying with a parody

Oh, isn't this exactly why I'm writing?
Not exactly why I'm writing, it's more
Preying for love from the fan base
And paying with a parody

Well I'm afraid now I
I've got it on paper
And I can see me shot dead d-dead d-dead d-dead from this one

Well I'm afraid now I
That's right I've got it on paper
And I can see me shot dead from this one

And isn't this exactly why I'm writing?
Not exactly why I'm writing, it's more
Preying for love from the fan base
And paying with a parody

Oh, isn't this exactly why I'm writing?
Not exactly why I'm writing, it's more
Preying for love from the fan base
And paying with a parody

Hey, excellent parody! Best one I've read on the site so far, haha. I agree, it seems harder to write parodies for PATD because of the lyrics or the preference of other bands (coughFallOutBoycough :) ). It wasn't blunt and mean either, although if this was your intent, you didn't quite hit the mark haha. Good job overall! (Note: I like both FOB and P!ATD Excellent excellent boys :)
