The Lyrics

Only my third attempt at a parody. This is ALOT harder then it looks. lol I have gained new respect for all of you parodyists I still suck at it, but I'm working on getting better
I saw a little sign in a neighboring town
said that they were gonna spray for the insect they'd found
I hope that they spray for them good!
They like to eat leaves, destroyed a couple trees in the woods.

Gypsy Moths and Bees
I had to google them to find out what they were
Aspen and Oak trees
seem to be what they like to eat the most
I hope they put them down

I know a boy that's allergic to bees
Has an epi-pen to use in case that they sting
Bees are a pest I could do without
Honey is the only thing that makes it worth to have them around

Gypsy Moths and Bees
Lots of little pests in the world to annoy us
Gypsy Moths and bees
Beekeepers use smoke to make them sleep
and get their honey out

I never learned in school that moths could destroy stuff, I had to learn on my own
Moth balls and bug zappers don't work really well to make these bugs disappear
I just wish they'd disappear, oh yeah

I saw a little sign in a neighboring town
said that they were gonna spray for the insect they'd found
I hope that they spray for them good!
They like to eat leaves, destroyed a couple trees in the woods.

Gypsy Moths and Bees
I had to google them to find out what they were
Aspen and Oak trees
seem to be what they like to eat the most
I hope they put them down

Wasps and Soldier Beetles
are natural enemies to the bug known as
Gypsy moths and bees
have been around for over two centuries
(it's) about time they were put down

You are too modest, Bookmistress. This is a good parody with an excellent title which does a good job of following the rhyming pattern of the OS.

I liked this. I find leaf cutter bees to be very annoying.

What JJ said - but this song is a bit of a bugger to do, so don't be too hard on yourself

Hey, this is good, but I think the OS might actually be from the 70s. Still, you did a fine job.
