Here's another "Cream" song parody. Imagine living in a downstairs apartment and discovering your upstairs neighbor is a leaden-handed, tin-ear drummer.
It's getting real loud
The drummer upstairs is wired
I'll call the cops, soon they'll come
Can't get to sleep; I'm so tired
He started to play at noon
I think he should find another calling
He's been playing too long
My frustration's growing
Told that drummer "that's enough"
He lives right above
Each night he plays until two
Now I really am bugged
All that pounding is really screwed
All day he's been drumming now
All day he plays; now my hearing's f*cked up
He's been playing so long
It is so annoying
Can't he tell when it's too much?
I think he's on drugs
Some quiet is overdue
Yes, he must be on drugs
Plays so awful it must be true
All day with that pounding sound

Alvin - Thanks! hmmm...my condolenses on THAT "upstairs idiots" situation. Say, speaking of sounds and noises I get the impression you might still have a functioning Turntable and such. I have a fairly good number of Vinyl LP's that I believe are in playable condition that I will probably never play again that could use a good home. I don't want any money for them, I just hate the idea of them either sitting here and for what I would get for them at a used record store I would rather give them to someone who might give them some use and enjoy them. Let me know if you are interested. We don't live that far apart and I've got wheels.
I remember this one. I was real happy whern electronic drums came out....with headphones!
My wife once lived next door to a band that would play Boston's "Peace Of Mind" over and over and over again.... It was all they ever played.... I wrote a parody about it, too! This is great, Paul.
