"Bagpipes Have Arrived"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I used to live next door to two bagpipers. They were good, and NOT the inspiration for the following...
I hear the bagpipes a-playin'
Oh, how that sound fills the air
Can't hear a thing that you are sayin'
Must run and get out of there

It's completely live
Sounds just like a buzzing hive
All the bagpipes have arrived

Their drummers keep the beat so steady
Our dogs have left without a trace
Do you have your earplugs ready?
Man, I'm sick of "Amazing Grace"!

It's completely live
Sounds just like a buzzing hive
All the bagpipes have arrived

Oh no, it's just as I was fearin'
As they descend on my front door
I sense an intense loss of hearin'
Know why Scots used them in the war!

It's completely live
Sounds just like a buzzing hive
All the bagpipes have arrived

Wish they would take five
I hope will will survive
All the bagpipes have arrived

Mari D - Geez, you had a place with "piped in music" and still you complain? Used to tell my friend Norris down here he'd complain if they hung him with a new rope...Nice job.

The next time your neighbor does it, show up with a few friends chanting "KILL MacLeod, KILL MacLeod..."

The only time I see bagpipers are watching the Shriners march by in the local annual parade. Amazing Grace? I thought they only knew one tune. 5-5-5

Great job Mari! I'm actually learning how to play. The problem is, you can't get better if you don't practice, and if you're not already good, no one wants you to practice within a square mile of them! There are basically two levels... "Master" and "dying cat."

Leah-- Doc Watson, the virtuoso guitar player, when asked if he ever played fiddle, said something like 'Yes, but I couldn't get more than a pig squeal' Mari, I loved this, lol, especially the beeeeezzzzzzz part! Fiverzzz !
