The Lyrics

The wife of the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sally Bercow, has form for saying or doing things before getting brain into gear. Though recently she has surpassed herself on Twitter, retweeting the mistaken identity of a litigious Lord who *definitely isn't* a paedophile and the name of a minor (which may lead to contempt of court proceedings).

Her Twitter account was then hacked by someone who tweeted "Hello 1000s of followers (funking lunatics). Stupid woman - password softearev." and according to the report above her account has now been deleted. Probably all for the best if it was never reinstated.
Sally Bercow, silly Sally Bercow
Sally Bercow, silly Sally Bercow
Sally Bercow, silly Sally Bercow
Oh you silly Sally Bercow,
Silly Sally Bercow
Misconstrued
So, you
Silly Sally Bercow
Silly Sally Bercow
You'll get sued

Right? Wrong. Knew it all along
Oh are you really thick as shit?
Bercow, silly Sally Bercow
A twittering twitter twit
Bercow, silly Sally Bercow
A tweeting twattish twit

Sally Bercow
Silly Sally Bercow
Sally Bercow
Silly Sally Bercow
Sally Bercow
Silly Sally Bercow

Oh you silly Sally Bercow
Silly Sally Bercow
Please explain
Why you
Twitter Sally Bercow
Silly Sally Bercow use your brain

Yes? No. What a way to go
Oh, are you really thick as that?
Bercow Silly Sally Bercow
A twittering twitter twat
Bercow Silly Sally Bercow
A tweeting twittering twat

Thought you'd out a paedophile
In unthinking Twitter style
Wrote something that I'll not repeat
So now hang your head in shame
For tweeting McAlpine's name
The moral: think before you tweet
(Oh, Sally, so silly, silly Sally tweet)

You're silly, so silly
Silly Sally Bercow
Silly Sally Bercow
Please explain
Oh, silly, so silly
Silly Sally Bercow
Silly Sally Bercow, not again

Oh silly, so silly, tweeting willy-nilly
Another silly stupid stunt
Bercow Silly Sally Bercow
A twittering twitter twunt
Bercow Silly Sally Bercow
A tweeting, twittering twunt
Sally Bercow
Silly Sally Bercow
So damn stupid, silly, Sally berk.

Laughed my head off all the way through this; massively clever rhyming to an OS that fits the banality of her actions perfectly. This parody is a definite 555.

As her past form proves, Sally Bercow is what happens when you sit a brain with no filtering function in front of a computer. Although it looks like Lord McAlpine's gonna be pretty busy if he really intends to sue EVERYONE who tweeted/retweeted his name..!

Great spoof of a situation that most of us on this side of the pond were probably not aware of. Several clever tongue twisters!
