The Lyrics

Brief pacing note: the fourth line has way too many syllables, but sings at double-time (if you see what I mean). Wrote this one yesterday, and performed it a couple of hours later, so I know it works...
Oh well I'm the type of guy who thinks the world should know
Everything I'm thinking 'bout and everywhere I go
Yeah, so it's superficial, like graffiti on a wall
But if you can't say it in 140 characters, it ain't worth saying at all
'Cause I'm a Twitterer a bit of a Twitterer
I twitter on and on and on and on and on

I'm tweeting when I've left and when my home is back in sight
I'm tweeting that it's bedtime when I go to sleep at night
I'm tweeting what I'm reading, twitter everything I do
I'll even write a twitter post when doing a shit on the loo
'Cause I'm a Twitterer a shit of a Twitterer
I twitter on and on and on and on and on

Oh well, I tweet when I'm in town
So that people are aware
Whenever I'm around
With my 3G smartphone, I can twitter from anywhere

Yes I'm the type of guy that tells the world about
Going to the vet because my budgie's down with gout
And when I find myself a-fallin' for some girl
I tweet her vital statistics, send 'em all around the world
Yeah I'm a Twitterer a git of a Twitterer
I twitter on and on and on and on and on

Oh yeah I'm the type of guy who never stops to think
If people really want to know each time I have a drink
And if you are a follower, in Bradford or Brazil
You'll know I've sent a tweet out, sayin' "I'm watching Philfy Phil"
'cause I'm a Twitterer a lot of a Twitterer
I twitter on and on and on and on and on
'cause I'm a Twitterer a twat of a Twitterer
I twitter on and on and on and on and on

I don't know why individual Twitter entries are called "Tweets," but I know why the people who enter them are called "Twits." Now, I'm no numerologist, Phil, but 1 + 4 + 0 = ... 5. Maybe you could do Dion again: "I wonder why you Twitter like you do!"

Thanks :-)

(or possibly a BOC "Don't fear the Tweeter" parody)

Great Job. May I make one suggestion. Your follow up should be the Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose song " Treat Her Like a Lady". You can call it Tweeter"s Like A Lady. :D
