The Lyrics

Catch the Kids

If the billy pounds his kin, it
Means he's certain he is gonna be
The alpha male in this place ovine.

He's feeling pretty proud; he
Has serviced each nanny; his clan flees.
Now he's got to go and try to catch the kids.

They run down trails and hide.
They ply their ovine wiles behind the piles
Of cans and trash on which they'll later dine.

For him to find them now,
Would be the bleatest things, but they won't sing.
How is he ever going to catch the kids?

But his reign could become unclear
If they disappear; he'd get the shears
To cut angora off his behind.

His standing on the farm
Would be imperiled, he'd be called "nanny."
So he'd better hope that he can catch the kids.
