The Lyrics

The posts I'm logging today are dedicated to the doyenne of defecation, the diva of diarrhea, the duchess of dung jests, Poopie Longstocking.
The dog takes a crap
When he's let out
And covers ordnance to waylay me,
Which I can't see.
I drop my shoe blindly.
Then my footfall--that's a turd, I'd say.

Implanted on the leather--
Surreptitious mines.
It's built up on the seams--
Surreptitious mines.

The other shoe's moving low;
Drops on one set to blow. . .
And the pup was pissin' where it lies.

It explodes and then
It zaps my size ten,
And already I do fear,
It's drying,
Caking hard on the leather.
Before this, they shined.
I must get these shoes cleaned.
Surreptitious mines.

Oh, will these Lugz* survive?
I'll have to smear on some dyes.
Worse than stepping in cowpies.

So I'm hunting low
To disarm Fido's poo.
Ugh! Yuck! Yuck!

*A brand of shoes.

I loved it, even reminded me of my own "Big Slobbers." But I had to dock you a point for mentioning the dribble, I mean drivel of Poopie Long Dropping.
