Song Parodies -> "Goose Liver"

Original Song Title:

"Moon River"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Henry Mancini

Parody Song Title:

"Goose Liver"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Goose liver—widen the bird's "smile"
Force corn piles down its passageway.
A reamed trachea, a part breaker—
The organ is growing, you'll soon have paté

Two lifters will it take to hurl
Succulent birds to "surgery."
They're after the famed bloated trend. Waiter's will attend.
Big bucks they'll have to spend; goose liver's not free.

Very good, and it's very cruel how they force-feed ducks and geese to make foie gras. But it definitely tastes good! 5s. BTW, pate de foie gras = paste of fatty liver.
