The Lyrics

I am in a rush to drive through the road tonight
All over the road you can hear the sounds of motors in park
I'm feeling real mean
Just go move and such cause nobody wants my sight
There's no roadway else I'm feeling bad so move it or fright

Now listen very carefully
Move it now or you will see when I'm mean
It isn't your dream
The only request I've in me
Is to buy me some Red Rose Tea
I have to forever and ever

I am in a rush to drive through the road tonight
All over the road you can hear the sounds of motors in park

Honk- honk-honk-honk-honk-honk-honk
Honk- honk-honk-you-d***-look-y-loos
Just- move- it- you-a**-or-if-you-must-look
Get- off- the- d*** -road

Now listen very carefully
Move it now or you will see when I'm mean
It isn't your dream
The only request I've in me
Is to buy me some Red Rose Tea
I have to forever and ever

I am in a rush to drive through the road tonight
All over the road you can hear the sounds of motors in park

Da, they're motors in park (rush)
They're motors in park (rush)

I decided to turn around but it still took all night to get home. I do have some White Rose Tea, but that tends to make me more cranky for some reason.

From Atlantic to Pacific,

Gee, the traffic is terrific.

Perry Como released "There is no place like home for the holidays" on Jan 1, 1946. Your parody reminded me of this song. The lyric lines posted above are part of the OS. Your lyrics reminded me of this song with all the traffic, in particular these two lines. Como's song is on Youtube if you want to hear it all.

Perry Como was born and originally from Canonsburg, Pa about 18 miles south of Pittsburgh, in Washington County. I grew up about 16 miles from Como's home town of Canonsburg.

Your pacing needs some help. I looked you up on the site and you have less than 15 parodies posted. This is why I was generous and fived you 3 times for encouragement. You have potential. Look at how some of the better writers do it and learn from them. Check out Spaff.com on Amiright. He, IMO is likely one of the greatest writers on the site. I see potential in your writing and if you want to write more, I encourage you to do so.
