Original Performer:

Iron Butterfly

Parody Song Title:

"Hello Faddah und Muddah"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Iron Butterfly meets Allan Sherman. Ersatz Latin meets pidgin Yiddish. And from the truth-stranger-than-fiction department (and to quote my cousin Dave Barry, "I am not making this up"): I just saw a Fidelity ad on the tube, featuring animated flowers blossoming in psychedelic swirls to the strains of Ina Gadda da Vida. The soil must have been highly acidic.
Hello, faddah und muddah. Oy vey!
Camp I am not loving, it's true.
Camp Granada's meshugge, makes me
Now an extremely umgliklech [unhappy] Jew.

Aldough they comfort me,
My dear Landsmen [compatriots]
One putz keeps punching me--
Bei mir, kein mensh. [To me, he's no mensch]
And--such a stench!
(Smells like he's French!)

Hello, faddah and muddah. Oy vey!
Little bruddah is there with you.
Leonard Skinnah is thinnah--ptomaine,
How I wish that I were back there too.

Remember Joe Spivey?
His face and hands
Flush with poison ivy
Got in his pants
Und shmok--the glans!

Wait, the wedder is better, hailing
Has let up, and the sailing crew's
Getting wetter; in water flailing,
The swimmers--ale [all] gators gone too!

No need to come get me
I now like camp
Put this kvetch oif [on the] PC
In the trash can
A sheynem dank! [thank you very much]

You never cease to amaze. Quite original, which is hard to do on a site with 40,000 plus parodies. High 5's
