The Lyrics

Big Bang

Big Bang

Been a theory spun around - about why we're alive,
Says a huge space kick - is what made us arrive
Astrophysicists claiming - a universal strip
Of protons, neutrons, too - set off a cosmic flip, a Big Bang,
(Big Bang, Big Bang) Big Ol' Bang, (Big Bang)

Some scientists believe - this globe, called home
All began lightyears ago - in that spaced out dome
They haven't proven much, about the reason, or why
But believe a puzzle piece - came from the sky, a Big Bang,

Those "Know-It-Alls" surmise with profound means
But who knows if they're right - maybe they don't know beans
Giant telescopes - Hubble on demand
Math out really hard equations, till an answer's scanned - a Bang,
(Big Bang, Big Bang) Big Ol' Bang, (Big Bang)

Who paved the way - but our buddy, Al Einstein
He was one sharp tack, there's just no deny'n'
Gifted with knowledge - brain, lightning fast
A famous theory taught, relatively cast,
He brang...

From the mirrors and smoke of vast science jell
Rose this genius of a man with a hair style from hell
Flashed a brainstorm glimmer, no equal, since known
Now, from such study, a whole theory has grown,
And sprang..
(Big Bang, Big Bang) Big Ol' Bang (Big Bang)

You can add Darwin's strength - he gave "evolve" a shove,
Sky's infinity length, and far out studies above
Vast star dot connections - leave a boggled mind,
And the world in awe - at what some day they'll find, Big Bang

Space exploration, though, lately's gone down
We watched Neil Armstrong - walk on hallowed ground
Believe NASA has - more journeys in mind
Rover's up on Mars, they're hopin' info to find - 'bout Big Bang
(Big Bang, Big Bang) Big Ol' Bang (Big Bang)

Built a giant space station, up there men sit
Sending data down to earth - to study it
Words sound cool, but all we really know,
At the bottom of the line - is it's a tv show,
(And, of course, the First Lady's hairdo) Big Bang,
(Big Bang, Big Bang) Big Ol' Bang (Big Bang)

AFW - A very "creative" parody with a double helix of twisted last lines. Good job! ;D

When I first saw the title, I thought Mrs Obama's new hairstyle might be in there somewhere. I have a theory that this might be the best parody of the day. Lots of good references to Einstein, Darwin, Armstrong. "vast science jell" and "gave evolve a shove" are nice matches to the original lyrics, always a plus in parody.

Man was I ever disappointed! BUT... then John Holmes 'splained it all and now I thinks it rocks! Can hardly wait for your take on G-string theory!

AFW, nice parody about another whack theory. Basically, if you wait around long enough (ie: 4.5+ Trillion years) something will emerge from nothing spontaneously!!! I love people that are gullible to believe in such nonsense. I ask evolutionists where all the transitional lifeforms are and the missing link between the animal kingdom and humanity and they have zilch. Also, when questioned about the bad science of taking recovered dinosaur bones from all around the world and cobbling together a complete skeletal beast for a museum... they have to resort to insects in amber, fossils, and a couple of complete Wooly Mammoths in Siberia! All life comes from existing life, so the chicken vs the egg Q? never bothered me at all. The egg can NEVER be first b/c it is an object of reproduction of the original species!!! The chicken was either created by God or aliens depending on your POV (or tin foil hat)! Teaching thoeries (and weak ones at that) as fact is just wrong. Man was taken from the earth and so needs water and minerals to sustain life. 70% of the world is water, 70% of your body is water. If one cannot see the hand of God (YHWH) in the human body, the miracle of birth, the diverse animal creation, this world with everything needed to sustain us and to build with, and the magnificence of the second heaven (universe)... then have fun now and pay later. "In their wisdom they became fools."

Thanks, OMR...and Patrick...thanks, RJ...I thought someone might think, from the title, that it would be another kind of Bang...and thanks, Rob, and John..

Appreciated, thanks, Dave

Another "intelligently designed" parody from AFW has only one flaw: neutrons and protons did not exist until the "pure energy" of the Big Bang had "cooled" to a few million degrees. Einstein's mass-energy conversion formula applied there, but he never felt comfortable with the quantum-physics theory needed under those extreme conditions.
