Yes! I have to ask you, was it censored with the "*" or did you do that? Can't believe Meriadoc has never heard the JC version - I didn't know there was any other besides Johnny and June Carter, but I remember the TV show.

Well done, John. It seems like such an obvious fit of topic and original song, you wonder why nobody thought of it before, but you deserve credit for being the first. It's too bad you didn't do this parody a week or two sooner so you could have entered it in the ABC contest for parodies starting with J.
The original was the source for Prefab Sprout's name after Paddy MacAloon misheard the line 'hotter than a pepper sprout'.
