The Lyrics

hopefully this one is more sucessful than my last one.......
i cannot take this anymore
all these pop ups come now theres 94
this whole thing it makes no sense
this slow modem is ignorance
i need some beer to make my day
because this computer didnt go my way
just like before............

THESE POP UPS THAT COME TO ME
MAKES ME WANT TO SLAM THE COMPUTER ON ITS EDGE
AND I HOPE THAT IT BREAKS
I WANT ALL MY LIVING ROOM AWAY
ANOTHER POP UP OR VIRUS LIKE THIS IM THROWING IT AWAY

i look at this screen and it is clear
this virus doesnt go away for a year
the computers talk it makes no sense
i want to throw it at my fence
pop ups never go away
i think all this smartness is gay
whoever made it is a whore

THESE POP UPS THAT COME TO ME
MAKES ME WANT TO SLAM THE COMPUTER ON ITS EDGE
AND I HOPE THAT IT BREAKS
I WANT ALL MY LIVING ROOM AWAY
ANOTHER POP UP OR VIRUS LIKE THIS IM THROWING IT AWAY

SHUT UP WHEN IM TRYING TO USE
SHUT UP WHEN IM TRYING TO USE
SHUT UP
SHUT UP
SHUT UP WHEN IM TRYING TO USE
SHUT UP
SHUT UP WHEN IM TRYING TO USE
YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THESE POP UPS THAT COME TO ME
MAKES ME WANT TO SLAM THE COMPUTER ON ITS EDGE
AND I HOPE THAT IT BREAKS
I WANT ALL MY LIVING ROOM AWAY
ANOTHER POP UP OR VIRUS LIKE THIS IM THROWING IT AWAY

THESE POP UPS THAT COME TO ME
MAKES ME WANT TO SLAM THE COMPUTER ON ITS EDGE
AND I HOPE THAT IT BREAKS
I WANT ALL MY LIVING ROOM AWAY
ANOTHER POP UP OR VIRUS LIKE THIS IM THROWING IT AWAY

This parody belongs in the 2000s not 60s! None of the members of Linkin Park were alive in the 60s!! :(

And one more thing.. is it really necessary to have most of the text in all capital letters?

It has some funny moments, and "SHUT UP WHEN I'M TRYING TO USE" is pretty priceless, but the extremely-hard-to-figure-out rhythm scheme actually takes away from the humor; sorry, but the line "whoever made it is a whore" sounds overworked. I get the feeling BiGdUdE111 is a beginning parodist. If so, it appears he(?) has potential. If you want my advice, try a lot less repetition (mostly with verses), a little more random goofiness (especially with punchlines), and don't try to incorporate the original's *words* as much as the original's *rhythm schemes.* You'd be surprised how much the rhythm helps. Listen to "Back One Week to the Future" by The Great Luke Ski and "Jerry Springer" by Weird Al -- big difference. Keep working, and you might get great!

Oh yeah, not just rhythm schemes (called "pacing" at this website, I believe) but *rhyme schemes*, too. In song parodies, rhythm(pacing) can help make sense of things, while rhyme can actually help with punchlines.

The members of Linkin Park were all born in the late seventies.
