The US president hopes to raise a few million campaign $ from his birthday party. Over the coming two weeks, he wants as a gift a higher debt ceiling without yielding to Republican cuts. Most amIright folks will not be there, but they can sing this tribute based on TOS sung to JFK by MM when BHO was a toddler.

Monroe Doctrine. That's funny. This is the first time in my life that the President is younger than I am. By all rights, he should be holding down some patronage dispensing job in the Dailey machine while waiting for the chance to be anointed mayor of Chicago.
