The Lyrics

Da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da

Well,
Seeger in the mornin'
Seeger in the evenin'
Seeger at anytime
Great songs from Pete Seeger
He sure can sing a rhyme..

If I Had a Hammer,
Reuben James, John Henry
Battle of New Orleans,
Are some of the folk songs,
Performed in his time..

Started with "The Weavers"
Back in those early years
Teamed with Woody Guthrie
And they banjoed....up cheers..

Seeger in the mornin'
Seeger in the evenin'
Seeger at anytime
Genius is Pete Seeger,
Today, and in his prime..

Well, well

Seeger is a singer
Seeger is an author
Activist, he can claim
Also an inductee
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Sang, "This Land is Your Land'
"We Shall Overcome" and
"Where Have All The Flowers Gone"
Many famous folk hits
The list goes on and on

He still lives in New York
And makes appearances
Though, he's eighty eight, now
Still, a good job, he does

Seeger in the mornin'
Seeger in the evenin'
Seeger at anytime
Great songs from Pete Seeger,
He sure can sing a rhyme..

Great songs by Pete Seeger,
He sure can sing a rhyme..

Pass the Seeger, I'll have 5 lumps please. Pretty sweet! Back in my USAF days I had a supervisor from Guam. He actually pronounced sugar as seeger.
