Well, dipping into the "oldies" bin here for a Moby Grape song. The original song happens to be a great song with wonderful dual-acoustic guitars playing off of one another and the vocal harmony parts doing the same. The "405" is the Freeway that goes from the Westside of Los Angeles out to the San Fernando Valley. Because of the hills there are not too many other ways to get from West L.A. to the Valley and it's generally a mess at rush hour. Going through the pass cars tend to stall when they are idling on a hot day, thus complicating the equation even more. Lanes have been narrowed so that more could be created so there is only a foot or two between the fast lane and a concrete retaining wall. Best not to have a flat tire or whatever when driving there. In many places the lanes are barely big enough to accomodate an SUV, much less the many huge tractor-trailors that must take this route.
