Parody Song Title:

"To Play"

Parody Written by:

Royce Miller

The Lyrics

Chorus:
Today I will paw at the big ball of twine
I'll eat your strawberries, knock over your wine
A whole bunch of wet wipes will all pass away
Ere you clean up all the mess I have made today

I'll eat some candy and I'll fight with Rover
You'll know where I am by the long trail of string
I'll walk on your table, then sleep on the covers
Just think what tomorrow will bring!

(Repeat Chorus)

I can't be contented with yesterday's Cat Chow
have you got some tuna on which I could spring?
And when you arrive home I'll meow and meow
You'll laugh and you'll cry, "Naughty thing"

Today while the cotton still clings to the twine
I'll eat your strawberries, knock over your wine
A whole bunch of Wet Wipes will all pass away
Ere you clean up all the mess I have made, today

I don't know why this kind of behavior amuses cat lovers, but it does. Very cleverly presented, Royce.

John, confession: never had a cat, I'm a dog lover; but he stays in the house when I'm at work and there is a certain amount of collateral damage that takes place; I just couldn't work a dog into this song. Thanks for your time and reading this.

My cats and I are meowing with approval.

Even though Royce is no longer with us I want to say well done. That describes living with cats.
