Parody Song Title:

"Fuels Gush In"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Fuels gush in as if terrain had bled.
And so companies start to pump
past the crust that ain’t bread.
There’s a sea to drain down there.
Compressed dinos and trees
compose this fare

Fuels gush in—then through pipes they will flow.
But dry land may turn to a sump
if, POW! a line should blow.
Then it’s wet, so if the pipe’s are thin,
they’ll open up to part and let the fuels gush in.

Fuels gush in—then through pipes they will flow.
But dry land moves; sunk pipes may slump
and now be lying low.
Time to fret before the work begins.
It’s best to first be smart—then let the fuels gush in.

The Bible speaks of "earthquakes in divers places" as one of the signs of the end-times. There have been tremors felt in Oklahoma and other places not normally associated with such phenomena. Some are blaming "fracking" for displacing the natural relationships of crust and fault lines.
