In Canada, Christmas comes in a very cold winter
so, When Santa Claus delivers his presents,
the reindeer are in Jamaca and he has no time to get them back
instead he used a group of teenage beavers called "The Five Brown Chompers"

Early one Chrismas Day, a little moose calf
was far from home and lost
and it's not to laugh.
"Mom, wheres my Mom? they took her away"
"We'll help you find your Mom, C'mon go on this sleigh"

So up on the sleigh little moose calf went
thinking his mom was being eaten in a tent
Santa harnest all the reindeer and Moose Calf wondered why
Seeing the Beavers Chomping in the sky

Pretty soon Santa began to feel the cold
Thinking that he might be getting old
Put on lots of Boots to warm his feet

In one popped moose calf
feeling quite o-kay
While those teenage beavers
were pulling on the sleigh

Moose Calf said to Santa
"Santa, what about the toys?
Aren't you going to give them out to those girls and boys?"
"They all have their presents now we been here last night
this here is an extra trip Moose Calf's Special Flight"

Soon the sleigh was passing right over Saskatoon
Santa had a TV and put on some cartoons
Santa said, "It can't be far, stand up and have a look around"
"There she is, There's Mommy jumping up and down

That's the best Christmas treat that Moose Calf ever had
curled up with his parents feeling snug and glad
That's the last time they saw santa heading northwards from the sun
The only time the chompers worked a double run.
