Original Song Title:

"Ruby Tuesday"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Rolling Stones

Parody Song Title:

"New Years Day"

Parody Written by:

Green Bloodied Hound Dogs

The Lyrics

If It Is The Start Of A Brand New Year
Last Year Don't Matter If It's Gone
While The Sun Is Bright
And While The Ball Is Light
Here It Comes
It's Coming Down

Welcome New Years Day
Who Could Make A Day Like That
When You Change With Every New Year
Still The Future Is Here

Don't Question While The Year Is So Brand New
Like September Or October It Is Old
It Just Can't Be Changed
Like Weather Is Always Changed
Like It Is
Like It Is

Repeat CHORUS

There's No Time To Watch Dick Clark
On ABC TV What Channel?
Birthdays Every Year
And Christmas Every Year
That Is Cool
Like Beer And Soda

I loved it, but my NYD parody will be a riot... and the start of either a parody of the entire Nevermind album or a parody opera. I'll be doing "Smells Liek 2004," which should be up tomorrow. I gave yours all 5's!
