The Lyrics

From The Album "Famous Without Warning"
Under cover of the night
He’s interweaving through the light
Up the molded steps he was creeping
While the angles quietly sleeping
From the distance twas the sounds that clamp like jaws
Made him pause
They were the sound of sirens

The master rose though did not know
Shadow lurking just below
Simple action to relieve his thirst
He saw the opened door thinking the worst
Through the dark he pierced and saw the foreign shadow stalk
He stood in shock
And prayed for sounds of sirens

And then the master turn to run
Just as the shadow grabbed a gun
In the emptiness the shot explode
Pulses ripple through the house and road
Waking angels cry their master nowhere near
And cannot hear
For any sound of sirens

Angels flew right down to see
Shadow standing over he
Laid the master in a pool of blood
All the angel’s tears amass a flood
But was gone, the shadow of a man
And he ran
From the sound of sirens

And the shadow refugee
Then collapsed onto his knee
In the distance heard alarms whining
Off the trees the flashing lights shining
And the man heard the words of the shadow its taunting filled his soul with dread
From what it had said
Incited all the sounds to silence

Yeah I know, it's not funny. But It's one I've been wanting to do for a long time.

A good parody can be serious. I'm not familiar with the story you're working from, but I can visualize every frame, you've done a great job of description.

Thanks! It's no specific story just an idea I conjured in my head.

Interesting reworking of a great song. Suitably dark, ominous atmosphere. I assume the 'shadow refugee' and the killer are one and the same?

Proof your work. You spelled angels two different ways. Also, penultimate 4th line should read 'All the angels' tears amass aflood'. It may be pedantic but there are a lot of readers here who care about that sort of inaccuracy.
