Parody Song Title:

"Hazy State of Union"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

It's that time of year again. Is the State of our Union, A, Limbo; B, Confusion; C, Chaos, or D, All of the Above? Like I said last year, "Wake Me Up When Dissembler Ends."
(instrumental opening)

Time, time, time.
See what's become of him.
While he looked around with a mind so dim
things have become so grim.

Look around
at this clown, now.
And this guy
gives a hazy State of Union!

Hear the Salvation Army band.
Their view of charity
goes far well beyond what he
for rich folks has planned
with golden cups in their hands.

Look around
at this clown, now.
And this guy
gives a hazy State of Union!

Hang on to your cash, my friend.
That's an easy thing to say
but if your job's taken away
simply pretend
that he ain't lying again.

Look around.
Is he high?
He talks tripe.
He's wasting more Army life!

Ooooh...
Seasons sending his policy
to the dustbin of history.
Won't you stop and remember me
telling of all his grime?
Funny how memory skips
when he don't look at briefing slips?
Led to bin Laden's crime!
Still sinking into Bush slime!

I look around
at this clown, now.
And this guy
gives a hazy State of Union!

Look around
at this clown
as he drives our land in the ground!
Look around
at this clown
and we're not gaining any ground!
Look around
at this clown
ten more soldiers into the ground!
(Ugh!)
Sad to say, for six years, "the Democratic Response" has consisted of me and little else. No more: Democrats have found their spine of steel to go along with their heart of gold.

i'd be embarrassed to relate the state if i was him

Ya gotta admit, he does come off more like a bumbling yokel and not the President of the most powerful nation in the world. I can guess there won't be a highlight reel of his speeches after he's gone. Nice work. 555

As far as I'm concerned, Michael, the only highlight of Bush's speeches, once you take out the blooper reel (all those "nucular" gaffes), will be his farewell address. Because the only good thing that comes out of Crawford, Texas is U.S. Route 84!

No, we won't stop and remember you, GW! 555

Much of the address included proposals that sounded like Democratic concepts, like more government involvement in health care and in setting fuel standards for automobiles. I agree that more government is a "hazy" idea.

Although it's not nice to make fun of the retarded...er, developmentally disabled, 5s anyway.
