The Lyrics

Can there ever be too many songs on the site sung by cookie monster?
Somehow, me don't get fat
Me don't know how me manage that
But, since it's just the truth I'll go
Looking for jars and eating cookies

Hey Mr. Elmo, what you holdin'?
The chocolate chips are getting cold and
Me don't think it crime to steal
Yum yum yum yum, eating cookie

Got no job and no responsibility
I'm roaming and restless and ready to eat
Let the Keebler Elves give all their products to me
I not bluffing, me want cookie

(cookie monster cookie eating noises) eating cookies
(cookie monster cookie eating noises) eating cookies
(cookie monster cookie eating noises) eating cookies
now i'm hungry and its just 10 AM

TD, that was great - I was confused by your use of 'me' at the start and then I realised I really was listening to 'Cookie Monster', HA!

As The Count would say, "That's one! Two! Three! Four! Five! Five points I gave this parody! Ah-ah-ah-ah!" (Kaboom!) How true, you can never get enough "Sesame Street" parodies. Why, Oscar the Grouch was even on the front page of today's (May 9) N.Y. Daily News, to illustrate cutbacks in sanitation funding.

THeyre firing Oscar the Grouch? When will the insanity end?
Michael Pacholek - May 09, 2003 - Report this comment
No, no, Billy, Oscar isn't getting fired. He's not an employee of the sanitation department, only a beneficiary. I'm not sure what his job is. Maybe he does "trash talk" on a radio station. Come to think of it, he does live in New York, and has a high-pitched voice, and messy hair, and have we ever seen Oscar and Chris "Mad Dog" Russo of WFAN together?

Eth, dug around here for my Show & Tell exhibit. This was really clever, from the title down to the final lines. 555

Missed this first time around - great stuff, Ethan: about as good as it could get, really.
