Song Parodies -> "Dominatrix"

Original Song Title:

"Dominque"

Original Performer:

Singing Nun

Parody Song Title:

"Dominatrix"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

A trio of tripe. My original plan was to (1) parody a translation of the French OS, both of which can be found at http://www.lyricsdownload.com/the-singing-nun-dominique-lyrics.html But then I got carried away and did on top of that a parody of the OS (2) and a translation of that parody (3). The Singing Nun was Jeanine Deckers (1933- 1985), a member (as Sister Luc Gabriel) of the Dominican Fichermont Convent in Belgium. Popular in the convent for her music, she was encouraged by the other nuns to record an album in 1963. One song, "Dominique," soared to the top of the charts in the United States. Overnight, she was an international celebrity with the stage name of Soeur Sourire (Sister Smile). She gave concerts and appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964.
1. Dominatrix

REFRAIN:
Dominque the Dominatrix, she ties his hand in knots
And slings him up with thongs.
On his ass she lays a board,
Quipping, "Here is your reward.
With thrashing she can't be bored.

She gives him a bonny backhand
And she says, "That's gotta sting."
Dominatrix grabs his slack gland
And on it places a ring.

REFRAIN

After a little foreflay,
She cuts him down and commands, "Crawl
To my boots and then while you're there,
Lick and don't let your tongue loll!"

REFRAIN

So he gets his tongue a-waggin'
As the lash is comin' down.
Unabashed thrashing ain't flaggin',
"Bad dog!" she laughs, with a frown.

REFRAIN

Soon his tongue and her arm tire,
Nonetheless, she's on a roll;
She cannot quell her desire
To yell epithets like "troll!"

REFRAIN

With authority she's talkin';
He prostrates himself toute de suite.
"Are you ready, boots? Start walkin'!"
She chants, dancin' to back beat.

REFRAIN

Dominatrix has some lumber:
Plank of fir that burred and spurred.
After she has spanked his bum, cur
Rankles her; her wrath's incurred.

REFRAIN

Dominatrix dudgeon is up.
After bludgeoning his girth,
"Lift your leg and pee like a pup!"
She screams; he streams; she beams: mirth.

REFRAIN

2. Dominique

REFRAIN:
Dominique, dominatrix,
Une chatte aux implements
Pour châtier méchant
Garçon qui voit dans ses yeux
Brûlant maintenant le feu
De maitresse qui sait jeux.

Cet homme ne sent du terreur;
A la terre c'est parfois.
A dessein il fait un erreur;
Elle le bat avec bois.

REFRAIN

A lui elle dit, "Chien!
Venez, léchez mes pieds.
Après, vous aurez providence,
Je vais sur vous pisser."

REFRAIN

Il n'a jamais vu telle femme:
Elle est si pleine d'ardeur
Mais s'arrête quand il s'enflamme;
Il sent à peine chaleur.
(Elle chant, vêtu à soeur.)

REFRAIN

Chez Dominique le douceur,
Une chose renversée,
Mais si vous choisez le douleur,
Elle vous ordonne: Rentrez!

REFRAIN

Dominique de votre dos
Feriez un sentier.
Pendant qu'elle fait promenade,
Pieds vous sentirez.

REFRAIN

Dominque jongle votre paire,
Jusqu'à bouleversé.
Cette étudiante de frère,
Bouillant, en boules versé.

REFRAIN

3. Dominique

REFRAIN:
Dominque the Dominatrix
Has the right tools of the trade,
Mistress on a mission.
In her eyes burns cat-like zeal
To bring this bad dog to heel.
She asks him: "How do you feel?"

REFRAIN

He shouts out something imprudent,
Calls her foul, nonfeline "chick."
She bawls to him: "That's impudent
I must maul you with a stick!"

REFRAIN

And then: "Lie down, little doggie,
Crawl to me and lick my feet.
Ex post factoe [sic] you'll be soggy;
I'll dampen you in this heat.

REFRAIN

He's never met such a sweet girl,
Full of fire. "Fulfill desire,"
He entreats, meeting, "Efeet [sic] churl,
Tongue-strum my toes like a lyre!"
(She sings, togged in nun's attire.)

REFRAIN

At sweet Dom's domicile, sweetness
Means meekness, turn-the-cheek kind.
If you're sweet on being beat, yes,
Come see D. She'll tan your hind!

REFRAIN

Swung partner, lady promenades--
Dom dances in dervish throe.
On your back, with dogs* that ain't bathed,
Does a dorsal dosido

REFRAIN

Dominique's a juggling scholar--
Studies not three, but a pair.
In her ardent work with balls, sir,
She arcs 'em into the air.

REFRAIN

*slang for "feet"

Pardon my French, but you're a f---in' genius!

I'm still laughing at "foreflay!" I like to listen to Dominique while watching Diabolique and being dominated, too. 555!

Thanks Michael (I am going to frame your generous comment), Yoidy. "Diaboliques," brilliant film (the original, not the turkey remake). Have you ever seen "Diaboliques" director Henri-Georges Clouzot's "Wages of Fear"? Brilliant also. Remade (mostly lamely, except for the incredible truck-on-the-bridge scene) as "Sorcerer" by William Friedkin.

Hmmmm... "Wages of Fear"? I know there's a song, "Waves of Fear," by Lou Reed, who knew this subject, as evidenced by his earlier work "Venus In Furs"...

Monsieur Jean, you are very irreverent, but this was très bon.
