Another educational parody, I'm afraid... I'd like to thank the University of Nottingham website for the background material for this one: my biology was a few too many years ago for me to get all the details in the right order... I was nearly there, though.

I'm not sure what's in a kidney. But I do know that, like a liver, it goes well with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

Gosh, you write so well, this one was very excellent! To fit those names in so well and then have the progressions come at the end of each level, in order, in sync, wow... I am so impressed, I may send this one to my grandmother who knows this song and would be very impressed when I told her how hard I worked on getting it all just right......... ---nah, ---- I am just kidding, I wouldn't do that to you... really! ........ - mainly because my grandma is dead..... but otherwise...

On re-reading, I realize that it may not be obvious that the proximal convoluted tubule comes between the Bowman's capsule and the loop of Henlé (and the distal one is on t'other side of the loop). And I was trying so hard... but it's hard to fit in "proximal convoluted tubule" with this number of words. I do so try to get my scientific ones to fit into a revision schedule :-) Thanks everybody.

Love this parody! I'm a dialysis patient and had a kidney transplant for over 30 yrs before returning to dialysis, so this parody is especially humorous....thanks for the laughs!
