Dude, you are one vulgar racist- watermelon, hos, ghetto, weed??? And then there's the whole Section 8 thing about low-income, suggesting that such people are bad. Same goes for your entire song on Food Stamp usage. Obviously, you have never had the dire situation of having to use them to feed yourself or your family and judge all as low-lifes if they do. This isn't funny at all. Just because you are probably some old white man of the Greatest Generation that has a retirement plan doesn't mean folks on Food Stamps are lesser citizens. I've worked, paid my taxes, and always voted. I served too. And I have had to use Food Stamps and the EBT cards to survive. What nerve. 1-1-1... if there was a 0-0-0 that's what you deserve for this outrage.

AFW - Gutsy parody from the King of Gentle. I get what you're going at...not those who NEED to use the stamps, but those who ABUSE the programs. LIC - I think you might have missed his point. Even the most "heartless conservative" (me!) realizes the necessity and appropriateness of such programs. What I resent are those who scam the system with impunity...who see the safety net as a lifestyle and career. ;D

To LIC...You're partly right, I am an old white man, but I'm also a low income citizen...and I was a child during the great depression, lived in poverty, and have been on public assistance..you're obvious conclusion that I'm somehow condemning all food stamp users couldn't be more wrong..and how am I a racist? I would say your comments show far more racism, than any of my parody content..Are you implying there are no white people who eat watermelon, seek out the services of prostitutes, reside in the ghetto, or smoke weed? and haven't you ever heard of "Tongue-in-cheek"? If you can't take biting satire or parody spoofing, why are you on this website?..and if you are a regular reader here, or a contributor, at least have guts enough to use your usual AIR name...You're entitled to your opinion, of course, as am I, under the first amendment..anyway, thanks for your "One" vote..because you're incorrect about there being no zero vote..you could have given me a 0-0-0 vote..by simply not voting at all..

Thanks for your vote and supportive comments, OMR...In retrospect, I could have been more specific..to show that public assistance fraud, especially food stamps, is not solely confined to the ghetto...it's also, prevalent in middle class and upper middle class neighborhoods, and by grocery merchants.

You wouldn't say that if you Black and read the opening lines. The language used here as LIC indicated are: watermelon, ghetto, and hos in the second and third verses. As the Old Man said it could pertain to whites but I have never heard any of my whote friends refer to prositutes or women as "hos"- that's an offensive term used by Blacks. So the author looks racist right from the start and then by verse 7 the food is chicken, ice cream, grits and collard greens- so back to either a redneck Southerner or again a Negro suggested. Add a knock on Section 8 too and then on to weed, SSI as low income, and pills for dough... c'mon this guy is over the line and during the post-2008 crash when most Americans of the middle-class are struggling to servive because they lost a lot or everything. How insensitive and in bad taste, I don't buy his sterotypes at all.

Mr. Observer, AKA, Low Income Citizen, Why still hiding under pseudonyms? Why not give your actual AIR name, since you have such strong convictions and keep making accusations of racism? Comments like this, really, require no answer...but if you are black, as your statements seem to indicate, and say you've never heard of a white person refer to prostitutes as "Hos"...where have you been living, under a rock? (Now, I suppose, in your eyes, this can also, be considered a racist remark..reference to Alcatraz and black prisoners, right?) Also, I'd say your term,"Redneck Southerner" is far more racist than anything you've been accusing me of, in my parody..

troutmouth - it could be that AFW rather wants to protect working people from theft. the only people i would opt to help is the handicapped, disabled, retarded folks, family and friends. these poor, they got families, know who "dad" is, have relationships with responsible people or friends ? besides, you know where to donate to poor people if you feel such a burden don't you? if not, give us your zip code and many of us will point you in the right direction to donate and relieve your burden for these poor. i was poor once, didnt ask the government for a thing. i was my only help and gee, a few lifestyle changes for a couple of years or so and i'm doing fine without other peoples money, but the key word is lifestyle changes. i lived on temporary work for over 3 years and had $5 left each day after rent, food, and automobile needs but time and effort brought about better blessings. i'll be paying off a house in a year. pop the zip code, we'll help you donate to your hearts desire

To the trolls: Please cut out the nonsense and unwarranted insulting of AFW. I have been his friend on AIR and off-site for several years, have only once found a "problem" with a parody, albeit by reading one line wrong (my fault in other words), and disrespecting your elders is just plain wrong.
