The Lyrics

It's that time of year again...and no, I don't really dump my leaves in my neighbor's yard...but maybe somebody out there is doing this to your yard when you're not looking...
You know the leaf deploys at night
Trees deleaf all day
Leaves to bag
Leaves to hide
Rake 'em through to the neighbor's side
Rake 'em through to the neighbor's side
Rake 'em through to the neighbor's side, yeah

We raked our oak leaves here
Dumped our leaf bags there
My neighbor's yard is where
My leaves I hide
Rake 'em through to the neighbor's side
Rake 'em through to the neighbor's side
Yeah!
C'mon, yeah...

Everybody loves my shade tree
Everybody loves my shade tree
Tree lets
Tree lets
Tree lets
Tree lets fly

I found a spot in neighbor's yard
Can't see with your eyes
That's the place
Leaves will hide
Rake 'em through to the neighbor's side
Rake 'em through to the neighbor's side
Rake 'em through, OW!
OH YEAH !!!

Raked it clean
Week by week
Day by day
Hour by hour
By light at night
Leaves I'd hide
Rake 'em through to the neighbor's side
Rake 'em through to the neighbor's side
Rake 'em through
Rake 'em through
Rake 'em through
Rake 'em through
Rake, Rake, Rake, Rake,
Rake, Rake, Rake, Rake, RAKE !

I had a fight with a neighbor over this. He felt it was my job to clean his yard of all the leaves from my trees. Couldn't wait a day for them to blow into the next yard. Now I can't afford a yard, problem solved!
