"Stubborn bunch of goons we've hired", indeed. Too bad we can't fire them for their poor performance. Now. Two more years is too long. Forget term limits, we need recall. The Christmas tree ceremony you depict here is the modern equivalent of Nero playing his lute while Rome burns. (Congress is preying on our loot).
Barry may be lighting up palm trees this year as he is headed to Hawaii soon. Godd plea for sanity with this one.
I think the golden rule would be lovely this time of year. Sadly, those who rule are not golden.
