"Come On Baby Fight My Choir"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I used to be in a gang, you know
(Famous organ riff)

You know that we are nasty dudes
So don't be fooled by our attire
We are not prone to peaceful moods
That's right, we bad like Richard Pryor

Come on baby fight my choir
Come on baby fight my choir
We're here to be your pain sup-plierrrrr

(Choirboys lalala famous organ riff)

The time for singing hymns is through
No time to raise our voices higher
We're gonna walk all over you
Of kicking ass we never tire

Come on baby fight my choir
Come on baby fight my choir
We'll cream you like our name is -- Breyerrrrr

The time for singing hymns is through
It seems you have aroused our ire
We'll beat you til you're black and blue
A lot of stitches you'll require

Come on baby fight my choir
Come on baby fight my choir
If I were you I would per-spirrrrrre

You know that we are nasty dudes
Your circumstances are so dire
We'll pelt you with our favorite foods
And soon you'll be an Advil buyer

Come on baby fight my choir
Come on baby fight my choir
We're here to be your pain sup-plierrrrr
We'll cream you like our name is -- Breyerrrrr
If I were you I would per-spirrrrrre

"OK, OK, dudes, it's a good parody."

Well-paced, lots of the original rhymes/allusions kept, good contrast between the original song and the parody topic...plus the image of choirboys wanting to kick butt was funny and original. Fives all round!

As one not automatically assuming the monkeys are all men I can imagine this as a soundtrack piece to those movies with Whoopie Goldberg where's she's in the witness protection program and has to hide out as a nun, that's in the first one anyway, I don't remember the name.

Thanks everybody; the "Breyer" was a lame reference to Breyer's ice cream.

"Sister Act", thanx Arwen!

I'd always thought the original's "funeral pyre" line was lame and figured it was because there were simply no good rhymes for "fire." How wrong I was, C4P. You found, like, 30 of 'em. And nice "Stir Crazy" reference.
