The Lyrics

I do believe it’s magic…in a young cow’s part
It’s a moo chick for me now…I never do tarts
And it’s magic…if the moo chick is raunchy
But tends to feel gappy if she’s old and paunchy
I’m foolin’ about in moo chick, it’s a three foot hole
If I’m caught…humpin’ a cow my partner she will…dock my pole

If you believe it’s tragic…don’t bother the ewes
If the…farm hand wants it…some sheep he’ll abuse
Must go an’ kiss ‘em…spittle lube then defile
He don’t…wipe off his trace…his splatter now hard an’ dry
His meat smarts: clap in, if it’s syph he’ll go blind
If you go there…it’s just…woe you’ll find

If you believe it’s magic…come along with me
My cow has been worn in an’ she’s moist as can be
I’m crazy…want some moo chick tonight
We’ll have us a threesome…she’s a great delight
And we’ll be humpin’ heifer then you’ll see
How it’s magic in the moo chick: it’s a moo chick for me, yeah
I do believe it’s magic…yeah
Relievin’ is magic in a young cow’s hole
Deceivin’ the missus who would dock my pole
She’s leavin’, it’s magic, that will…set me free
Oh, talk about how tragic

No one commented on the incredible syllable-matching? ... guess someone just did! ;-D

*Really* sorry I missed this one, being a bestial b*stard myself, though we differ: You prefer cows; I, sheep. (See this Friday, US time - today's (Thursday ChuckyTime) is unrelated to this topic.)

Hilarious spoof with superb execution. Back atcha with the Lovin' Spoonful, this time with the *other* SM:

555, and thanks for the link. We have a lot in common, though I'm not sure that that's such a good thing.... ;-D

Security Code HDD! Your bike! (Harley-Davidson Dud! heh! ;)

Thanks for the vote & comment (and noticing the syl-matching). So, you're doing a sheepody for Friday. I'll see if I can "knock one up" tonight (and post it tomorrow as well).

Don't know what just happened, but two thirds of the above comment is missing.
Andy P @ TT - February 10, 2011 - Report this comment
Still not working right - I think it's only taking the comment up to the first (BR)(BR) and then missing everything after the break. I'll keep it all in one paragraph and see if that works. You left off the "s are" before Dud! I'd take a Brit-built Bonnie over a Milwaukee Tractor any day. 16 years of riding the same bike and not fed up with it yet. I'll try to catch your other Spoonful later tonight (or over the weekend if I haven't got time). Ha ha - security code RBB - "Riding Bonnie's Better".
TT - February 11, 2011 - Report this comment
If you make *any* typo in the line break tags, it will cut off right there. Check carefully, and I find upper case works best.

Of course, you know that "knock up" has an entirely different meaning here! ;-D (and note no problem with the double-line-breaks. ;)

Forgot you were a Triumphant fan of Bonnie. (His Bonnie lies over the ocean ... )

Holy cow, it's like e-mailing with Fiddlegirl -- can't write three sentences without coming up with a parody idea. You're welcome to it:

My Bonnie
My Bonnie (Motorcycle)

(intro re: Triumph brand and brief history, as needed)

My Bonnie's my main means of motion (oh, TT!)
My Bonnie's built beau-ti-ful-ly
My Bonnie gets all my devotion
Don't e'er take my Bonnie from me!
(or) My Bonnie: 650 cc (footnote to explain)

Up-right
"V"s bite!
Like big clunkers from David-son, Harley
No "slant"
Nor cant (f/n: of cylinders, customary in Jap bikes)
Like Honda or Kawasa-ki!

My Bonnie: Traditional big-twin
No flat-opposed Dubya-M-B [1]
My Bonnie's the bike that I'm diggin' (US slang, "dig"? )
Four cylinders: "two" much for me!

[1] "BMW" backwards, plus a verrrrry far-stretched ref to "WMD"

Cripes, I could probably write it, but won't -- much better coming from the actual owner, esp. as ricewagons have been moi's bikes. A brief nod in the intro, at your discretion, would be appreciated as proper credit. ;-D

Knock up means the same in the UK. It can be taken as either the parody or the sheep!
Dig is also used in the UK (at least since the 60's)

This Pommie is diggin' your notion
Though, Tommy, 'tis too tough for me
So, Tommy, you set it in motion
'Bout old bikes of Tommy the T

Jap bike:
Crap-like
Not used by P Fonda, or me: yippee!
Nip hog:
Quip: dog
So don't buy some Honda big V

Cut off half way through again...

What chance of a story then, Turtle?
Would be hunky-dory, if read
Though bikes on which kiddies all hurtle...
Last two years; then breakers: they're dead

Pommie (AUS/NZ) = a Brit

Very true 1st verse of yours. The amount of times I've heard "You think more of that damn bike than you do of me) :) I even named the cat Bonnie. She's about 12 now and when she passes, our next cat will be called Bonnie too (Bonnie II).
Tommy Turtle - February 13, 2011 - Report this comment
If TT were to knock up a sheep, that would be a miracle (and probably start a new religion, heh! ;).

US "knock up" very specifically = "get a girl pregnant". Hence amusement at UK movie character, "I'll knock you up later!" LOL!

Actually, I rather liked my Jap bikes (else, why own five of them over the years?). High power-to-weight ratio, tech firsts - electronic ignition, double overhead camshafts, six-speed transmissions, etc. And light weight good for a turtle -- no 3-400 kg bike for moi, thank you. And *very* reliable, which is all the more important as I'm not mechanically inclined.

I'll be glad to help with the song, but I don't have the background knowledge to write of Triumph, and don't consider Peter F. a role model!!!! ... btw, didn't care for the Japs imitating V-twins. Tried one once; clunky and hard to handle. The slant-two, three, or four-cyls were light and very fast., and by matching the cyl slant to the front frame bar, made for a more compact package, more maneuverable.

btw, there must be a "Bonneville" ("pretty village' in France, but you *do* know its location and gelology in the US, and significance to the world of speed, right? Cheers.

I think, between our above 2 ditties, we've probably gone as far as we need to with the bike theme. Can't see anyone else being interested in reading it.

I don't really hate Jap bikes - I owned 4 of them myself through the 80's. The last one was a DOHC Honda CB750FB with a Marshall 4 into 1 pipe (amazing sound when it hits the power band). Nice bike (fast & reliable) but my 650 Triumph gives me more of a thrill to ride (& is more reliable than you would think!).

There are quite a few places in France called Bonneville.
I doubt there's any Bonneville owners who wouldn't know about the Salt Flats - that's how the bike got its name! I presume you know about Johnny Allen & the Triumph 650cc "Texas Cigar" - 214 mph in the mid 50's.
