The Lyrics

Hi. We're back.
Bark out, hurl with its bark out
It’s got fangs array
Post shout! Stress leave, he’s walked out
They’ll be no mail today

Sure… I’ve taken to flight
There’s a little pit, strong
And the little pit bites
And yes, I’m…a little subdued
‘Cus a little bit me (a pit it bit me)
Man, did this little pit chew (true)

Oh no! Injury - life-long
I, swift as impala, flies
Too slow! Baring are his prongs
Oh cripe! It tears at my thighs

Well, got boned at first sight
Does the little pit fawn?
No, the little pit bites!
My head swirls, as canines tore through
Little sh*t: he bit me (a pit it bit me)
Then spit transmitted into (ewww)

Oh well, not taking this light
Aim a little bit wrong
I’ll have a widdle misdight
My mind whirled, below I am screwed
‘Cus a little bit me (a pit it bit me)
Alas a little pit chewed (true)

Yes a little pit, me
Did a little bit chew

(fade away like an empty mail sack...)

Michael - I don't think I knew that. I knew he wrote I'm a Believer, 'cus he released a recording of it in '71, which I bought, never having had the Monkees version... :O

Long time no M&P :-) And also good to see so many other old-timers commenting.. Might have realized there was a reason behind Pippin picking loads of parodies at random - I tend to do that when I've been away for any length of time (which doesn't happen much, and would be of the order of a month rather than than over a year..).

Thanks everyone, also. Good to be back, it's been too long. Phil, in part that was the reason why for the random visits. Also in part because I have been off work with a broken ankle so I was desperate. I almost got to reading barcodes I was so bored. I wasn't disappointed though! The random option is the way to go, if one has time. I found some buried treasure that way.

Welcome back. . .sounds strange saying that as detached as I've been thanks to work/school. . .but nonetheless I've missed you. Great way to come back, it seems like its been forever since I've read a new MP parody, hopefully not the last. . .and I will work on getting the time to come back myself and get everything going again. . .school's 7 courses from being finished (YAY)! Seriously, welcome back, thank you for the email--it meant a great deal that you thought of me enough to do that, and reminds me of something that I really love about you two (more even than the great talent behind the writing or the efforts that must go into writing from two different parts of the world as a team), and that is that you two are really classy individuals. Thanks again, and hope to see more!
