Parody Song Title:

"Conked Out While Swimmin'"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

...about the death of brian jones...
they pulled him from his swimmin' pool unconscious
they said it was from drownin' that he died
but i believe there is a tale untold here
cause i tend to think there was more than implied

he had cah-ha-ha-honked...out while swimmin' ?
did he ?...did he ?...did he ?
or were all duped ?
he had cah-ha-ha-honked...out while swimmin' ?
tell me...tell me...tell me
oh, what's the real poop ?

he'd had a lot of trials and was unsteady
but still inside he had the will to fight
i think he lost his life to deadly forces
the book is closed, though clues are left behind

he had cah-ha-ha-honked...out while swimmin' ?
did he ?...did he ?...did he ?
or were all duped ?
he had cah-ha-ha-honked...out while swimmin' ?
tell me...tell me...tell me
oh, what's the real poop ?

Excellent, and what timing. Merry and I were talking about this very issue just recently. Someone out there has been "Dancing With Mr. D."...

Excellent subject matter Alvin. What my friend wandlimb would call a 'real parody'. Good job!

I saw something about this on a TV special. Seems pretty suspicious. Again, I see you in 2008 picking thought provoking topics. I think it helps provide a balance for us goofballs.

Very serious and thought provoking. You do well with any theme. You are a true wordsmith. This is a fishy tale - and no pun intended in that his demise was one of a watery nature. Well done Alvin.
