The Lyrics

The bough is the main branch of a tree. And this guy's friend loves climbin' on 'em. Because reasons. Enjoy!
A friend of mine has the tendency to be an obnoxious clo-od
Always doin' dumb stunts because, and I quote: "They raise my live-ness by a lo-ot"
By this point, I'm used to his antics, they're just gettin' old hat
So when he climbs a tree, I just roll my eyes and yell at the twa-at:

I scream "Hey (hey), douche (douche)! Get off of that bough
Dumb (dumb) tool (tool)! Get off of that bough
Hey (hey), fool (fool)! Get off of that bough
Won't be around if you fall out
Your own fault, buddy"
Yeah

But he just keeps on singin'
"Asante sana" so I head on back insi-ide
But soon the chorus swells by 'bout two
And I can't believe my eye-eyes
He somehow conned a couple of dumb boys
To join him, how, can't even begin to gue-uess
Don't they know one wrong step
And they'll meet the ground and make a big me-ess?

I scream "All (all) you (you)! Get off of that bough
You (you) fools (fools)! Get off of that bough
Dumb (dumb), tools (tools)! Get off of that bough
Don't monkey 'round, you will fall out
And that's wrong, dummies"
Yeah

I go back inside for just a bit
Washin' machine went ding, must hang it ou-out
Figured they'd soon come to their senses
But I couldn't be more wrong, cause someho-ow
Ev'rybody in the damn city has joined him up that tree-ee
I open the door, starin' slack-jawed at the sight
And they start singin' at me-e

They scream "Hey (hey), douche (douche)! Climb onto this bough
Dumb (dumb) tool (tool)! Climb onto this bough
Hey (hey), fool (fool)! Climb onto this bough
You won't fall out cause we're around
Don't just frown
Hey (hey), you (you)! Climb onto this bough
You (you) fool (fool)! Climb onto this bough
Dumb (dumb), tool (tool)! Climb onto this bough
Come be a clown, buddy, mess around
On this bough, buddy"

Clearly that is some kind of Supertree to be able to hold an entire city's population without collapsing. That or this is a town of noodle people. You make the call!

Tree-mendous effort- 555! Btw, grew up with Lombardi Poplar trees that grew to over 50 ft high. I only made it to around 30 ft before becoming "concerned" about falling. My sister developed acrophobia, so many years ago she had to go to court on the 7th floor or 70 ft up. I tried to cheer her up by taking her to the glass. I told her to relax because if the building were to fall, it would collapse onto the 5 story next to it!!! My sister was delayed in court because she was in the restroom vomiting!!!
