"Roulette"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Roulette is a game in which you’ll lose
if you don’t know when to quit and move
away from the wheel, ceasing as a bettor.
Addictive behavior’s a loss abettor.
The wheel is not the place to be if you start
losing, which is so easy to do.
Moving far away should be for you.

This ain’t a game of skill that you can beat;
when you acknowledge this fact, you’ll retreat.
You should go out and cool off in the street, shun
roulette and avoid financial doom;
fleeced will you be, acting like a goon.
Go, go, go go!

After for a while you have been away
and caught your breath, you might return to play.
But if you find you lose again, belay
trying more recklessly; finance core wrecked will be.

Screw it! Stay ’way from the roulette room.
Wheeling might well lead you to your doom.
It’s a no-no.
Roulette: bad luck, lack bucks!
