The first verse threw me, because "Red Ass" (usually printed as "R.A.") is an old baseball term for a player with a chip on his shoulder. This song could also appeal to A Room Full of Monkeys, but for a very different reason.
Funny and what a coincidence. We've got a band here in St. Louis called Red Ass Jones and the Goldbondsmen. The Pacholek fella's right about the term "red ass", but I know it as an old ironworker saying. i.e. "Jones has a case of the red ass." Kinda how I got my nickname.

Yes, brings me back to the days of driving 65 in a 30mph lane to beat a 10pm curfew...risking far worse if there was ever a cop on that road! Great idea for the song, I enjoyed it.
