"My Wives"

The Lyrics

I’ll try polygamy,
don’t like the number 1 in matrimony.
At the moment, I have got only one wife,
and that’s a tragedy.

That state I want corrected,
because it’s no fun, uxorially stuck with just one.
Call me a bawdy bard;
that term, you might have guessed, verged on an obscene pun.

I have got a plan to marry more mates,
but I have to take it to the next step and demonstrate,
and not leave it to fate.

Gonna tie the knot with a bevy of beauts…
have a large-throng swive.
Some of my friends think my ideas are funny
and believe I just jive.

But I am gonna be feeling in the pink…
double entendre I think.
The future shows me multiple matrimonial links.

I’ll be giving thanks when I have more mates,
as I imagine that I am reading the golden plates.
Just one mate doesn’t rate.

Goin’ out to Utah…a bevy of beauts.
It’s a long, hot drive.
When I get there, I will find some honeys
with whom I’m gonna thrive.

’cause I’m oh so tired of one-ing—
gonna get myself some more.
Then there’ll be no rest time.
I think the magic number’s 4,
yeah!

There’s 1 an’,
there’s 2 an’,
there’s 3 an’,
my fourplan.
