This song is the product of what happens to a first semester college freshman when Quiet Time is imposed 24 Hours a day for a week during finals in the dorms and the fact that there is way too much studying going on. I wrote it in like 10 minutes.
Verse 1: Can't stay awake, I need a break
from all these tests I have to take.
Ain't it sad?
And still there never seems to be
an ounce of free time left for me.
That's too bad!
In my dreams I have a plan.
If I can take a book and scan
all this info in my brain
I would never again complain.

in the college world.

All the things I would do
if I didn't have to study,
it's a college world!

to reach success and not study?
