The Lyrics

This song is dedicated to all the parody writers and staff at amiright.com.
Thank You For The Lyrics

We're nothing special, in fact we can be a bit of a bore
If we write you a tune you've probably read it before
And you all have talent, a wonderful thing
'Cause everyone's reading songs each new day brings
Were so grateful and proud
all We want is to shout it out loud

So we say

Thank you for your lyrics, your songs we're singing
Thanks for all the laughs you're giving
who can live without it, we ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song Amiright - pa-ro-dy?

So we say

thank you for the lyrics
you wrote for all to see

Some here were writers - even before they could talk
Some here were writers - even before they could walk
And we often wonder, how did it all start?
we found out that writing songs is an art
which captures your heart
well, whenever we all do our part

So we say

Thank you for your lyrics, your song's we're singing
Thanks for all the laughs you're giving
who can live without it, we ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song Amiright - pa-ro-dy?

So we say

thank you for the lyrics
you wrote for all to see

(Bridge)

Were all so lucky, we are the folks who talents share
We wanna give a hand to everyone
What a joy, what a life, Am-i-ri-i-ight?

So we say

Thank you for your lyrics, your song's were singing
Thanks for all the laughs you're giving
who can live without it, we ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song - Amiright pa-ro-dy?

So we say

Thank you for the lyrics
you wrote for all to see

Yes we say

Thank you for the lyrics
This is our last pa-ro-dy

To all Ami(w)righter's out there who wonder. We decided to give it a break, at least for some time. We found it to be just a bit too time consuming, especially at a time of year like this, and our one year old daughter also needs more and more of our attention. Thanks for your kind remarks, have a good one!

Many people take breaks from the site. I took a break last month, and found it very refreshing. You two are always welcome to come back, as time allows. Many people don't submit parodies, or comment daily. No sin there. Thank you both for sharing your humor with us. If you have any free time on your hands, give us a peek. Our kids need our undivided attention, and nothing is more importiant than them.

I generally steer clear of meta-parodies about the site or its regular contributors, but in this case...if the webmaster held a contest for a site theme song, this would be my nominee. 5-4-5....
