Parody Song Title:

"Rust Cat Flub"

Parody Written by:

Guy DiRito

The Lyrics

Rust cat, rust cat, car head light,
Run to the left then jump to the right.
Now the tires your head be a squeezin'
Rust cat woozy. rust cat slammed.
Like a litterbug,
Out on the highway span.
Lost a kidney,
He's flat and so skinny.

He got hurled and he twirled, he got mangled,
Zingin' and tinglin' all tangled.
Has nine lives got seven used up.
It looks like rust cat flub.

Crippled his bacon, out in the breeze,
All clammy and woozy.
Funny, he's so used to near misses,
He's such a mess and he hisses.

Though his foot work was fancy,
Rubbin' on tires,
Muffler's a shuffler, ow.
Skinned up his nose,
It still wiggles,
This song makes you giggle.

He got hurled and he twirled, he got mangled,
Zingin' and tinglin' all tangled.
Has nine lives got seven used up.
It looks like rust cat flub.

Congratulations on writing 200 parodies, Guy--that's what I'm struggling to do also.

Thanks, I enjoy writing them.

I think my first ones hit the site on May 26, 2003. I guess it's been three months ago today.

Well, Guy, it's taken me about a year and 2 months to not quite reach 200 yet. Three months to write 200 parodies--and I'm familiar with most of the original songs you use. Good luck!

Congrats on 200 Guy! That's twice as many as us and we've been here since March! :-0 (And I am so glad you said 'America' and not Captain and Tenille') :-)

Yeah - But it seems you two are twice as good. So why 'shouldn't you be twice'? :D Really love it when you two get on a roll.

Thanks for the congrats - I just really like to write this stuff and I'd like to thank all those who have encouraged me along to get me to this point. I would have never gotten here had it not been for the encouragement. Keep stirin' the pot.
